Every interaction facilitated through our platform is intended for social, recreational, professional, or lifestyle companionship only. Kumpanio is not a dating platform, escort service, matchmaking service, or adult entertainment platform.
All users and companions are expected to respect this purpose throughout every interaction, both on and off the platform.
What Platonic Means
A platonic booking is one where two individuals spend time together without any expectation of romantic, sexual, or intimate involvement.
Examples of acceptable bookings include:
- Attending social events
- Dining together
- Exploring the city
- Visiting cafés
- Shopping
- Walking or sightseeing
- Cultural events
- Concerts
- Sporting events
- Professional networking events
- Family functions
- Weddings
- Festivals
- Travel companionship within the agreed booking
- Conversations and social interaction
The purpose of every booking should remain respectful, professional, and within the boundaries agreed by both parties.
Zero Tolerance for Sexual Services
Kumpanio strictly prohibits using the platform to request, advertise, arrange, facilitate, or engage in any form of sexual or intimate service.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Paid sexual activity
- Escort services
- Prostitution
- Soliciting sexual favours
- "Happy ending" requests
- Requests involving nudity
- Erotic entertainment
- Adult content creation
- Pornographic activity
- Sexual role-play
- Fetish-related requests
- Requests for physical intimacy in exchange for money or gifts
Any attempt to use Kumpanio for these purposes will result in immediate enforcement action.
Romantic Relationships
People naturally form friendships through shared experiences.
However, Kumpanio should never be used with the intention of finding romantic or sexual partners.
Users and companions must not:
- Use bookings as dates
- Market themselves for dating
- Advertise relationship availability
- Pressure another person into romantic interaction
- Use platform messaging for romantic solicitation
If two adults independently develop a personal relationship outside the platform after their booking, that decision is entirely their own. Kumpanio does not facilitate, encourage, verify, or assume responsibility for relationships formed outside the scope of its services.
Respecting Personal Boundaries
Every individual has the right to establish and maintain personal boundaries.
All members are expected to:
- Respect verbal and non-verbal communication
- Accept "no" immediately and without argument
- Avoid unwanted physical contact
- Refrain from inappropriate comments or gestures
- Respect personal space
- Communicate politely and professionally
Consent to participate in a booking does not imply consent to physical affection, romantic interaction, or any other personal activity.
Physical Contact
Physical contact should always be appropriate, respectful, and welcome.
Examples of generally acceptable interactions may include:
- Handshakes
- High-fives
- Brief greetings where both individuals are comfortable
Any physical contact that is unwanted, persistent, sexual, intimidating, or coercive is strictly prohibited.
When in doubt, ask first.
Prohibited Behaviour
The following conduct is prohibited on Kumpanio:
- Sexual propositions
- Flirting intended to initiate romantic or sexual interaction during a booking
- Requests for kisses, hugs, cuddling, or intimate contact
- Sharing explicit photographs or videos
- Sexually suggestive messages
- Lewd comments
- Harassment
- Stalking
- Persistent unwanted communication
- Coercion
- Blackmail
- Indecent exposure
- Any unlawful conduct
Attempting to disguise these activities using coded language or indirect requests is also prohibited.
Gifts, Tips and Personal Favours
Users must not use gifts, money, tips, promises, or financial incentives to pressure companions into activities outside the agreed booking.
Companions must never imply that additional payments will result in special treatment, personal relationships, or prohibited services.
Alcohol and Substances
Where alcohol is present during a booking, both parties are expected to consume responsibly and comply with applicable laws.
Illegal drugs or controlled substances must never be requested, supplied, possessed, or consumed as part of a Kumpanio booking.
Neither party should pressure the other to consume alcohol or any intoxicating substance.
Off-Platform Communication
Members may exchange contact information only if both individuals freely choose to do so.
However, using off-platform communication to arrange prohibited activities, circumvent platform policies, avoid platform fees, or engage in unsafe behaviour violates our Terms and Conditions.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this policy, report it to Kumpanio as soon as possible.
Reports may include:
- Sexual solicitation
- Harassment
- Inappropriate advances
- Boundary violations
- Unsafe behaviour
- Threats
- Policy violations
Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports and takes appropriate action based on the available information.
Enforcement
Violations of this Platonic-Only Policy may result in one or more of the following actions:
- Educational warning
- Mandatory account review
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account removal
- Cancellation of bookings
- Withholding of payouts where permitted under our Terms
- Referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law
Serious violations may lead to immediate and permanent removal from the platform without prior notice.
